Railway RRB photo and signature size for 2026
Most 2026 Railway Recruitment Board notices for NTPC, Group D, ALP, JE and Technician capture the photograph live in the application. The signature is still uploaded. Published guides for the 2026 notices give 140 × 60 pixels (about 50 × 20 mm) with a file size in the 30 to 50 KB range. Older notices used 10 to 40 KB, so check the CEN you are applying under.

How to resize your Railway RRB photo and signature
- Open the resizer above. Railway RRB is already selected.
- Sign on plain white paper, take a picture of it in daylight and add it. Keep "Clean the paper" and "Trim to the ink" on.
- Check the green ticks for pixels and KB, then download each file and upload it to the Railway RRB portal.
Tips so your form is not rejected
- If your CEN asks for a photo upload instead of live capture, choose Custom in the resizer and enter the size it gives.
- Sign in black ink in running handwriting. A signature in capital letters can be rejected.
- The same signature is compared at the exam and at document verification, so sign the way you normally do.
Need a white background or a printed passport photo too? Use the passport photo maker. For certificates and marksheets, compress the PDF to the portal's limit.
