When credits differ, each SGPA is weighted by its credits: CGPA = Σ(SGPA × credits) ÷ Σ credits. For SGPAs of 8.0 (20 credits) and 9.0 (24 credits), the CGPA is (160 + 216) ÷ 44 = 8.55.
